Glaser talks about sex the way a sommelier talks about wine: with specificity, enthusiasm, and the assumption that everyone wants to learn. Her material is explicit—extremely explicit—but never vulgar, because vulgar implies a lack of thought. Every detail is chosen for maximum comedic precision.

She describes her sexual preferences with the matter-of-factness of someone ordering lunch. The audience's discomfort IS the joke—she's perfectly comfortable, and their squirming reveals more about them than about her.

What separates Glaser from other comedians who do "dirty" material is her clinical precision. She doesn't use vague euphemisms or crude language for shock value. She describes specific acts with specific observations that nobody else has articulated, and the laughter comes from recognition: "I can't believe she said that. I can't believe it's true."

It's feminist comedy disguised as dirty comedy. By talking about female sexuality with the same confidence that male comedians have always talked about theirs, Glaser normalizes a conversation that's been one-sided for decades.
