Your Mother Threw a Shoe

In "Delirious," Eddie Murphy dedicates an extended sequence to a phenomenon every kid from a certain era knows intimately: being hit by a projectile launched by your mother.

"My mother could throw a shoe around corners. You'd be running, thinking you got away, turn the corner—BOOM. Right in the back of the head. How did she do that? The shoe turned."
